Whether young or old, beginner or advanced, everyone can learn to play piano!
The main principle of the piano courses is that the pleasure in playing the piano comes first. Depending on the pupil's level, wishes and preferences both classical pieces and pop, boogie et cetera can be played. The teaching method is also chosen based on the pupil's preferences, level and age. Lessons are once a week in my classroom in Bourglinster (3 km from Junglinster) and last 30 minutes. Children
Seven years is a good age to start with piano lessons. At that age, children are learning to read and have sufficient capacity to concentrate. But of course you can also start later. The teaching method is completed with other books: children's songs, boogie-woogie, pop, classical pieces… plenty of choice. Adults
No one is ever too old to learn to play piano, so adults can develop their talents as well! I use several methods for adults, depending on your interests. It is not necessary to be able to read notes; this is integrated in the lessons. If you have had lessons before, we look together at which level you can restart. Playing together
As playing together is very important, piano for four hands is part of almost every lesson. Playing together is exciting, it improves the ear for music and provides a stimulus for playing and home practicing. Practicing
Pupils are expected to practice at home every day. It does not have to be long, 10 minutes a day can be enough. If you are making progress quickly, playing the piano becomes even more fun!
